The coat dress had clear feel of the eighties. This style reminded many of Diana, her late mother-in-law. It’s nice seeing old touches in today’s royal style. The dress had strong shoulders and sleek shape. But Her Royal Highness made the look softer. She added a wide hat with flowers. This hat went well with her fancy updo hairstyle.

Comparing this to last year shows a confident step. Last year she wore a white dress with a bow. That was her first time out after cancer treatment. This year turquoise look feels much bolder. It stood out greatly against military uniforms. This choice might show feeling more confident. It signals a return to vibrant colors she likes for Trooping.

Royal looks must have jewellery. Princess of Wales added history with her choices. She wore diamond and pearl earrings. These earrings belonged to the late Queen Elizabeth II. Kate wears them often as a nice tribute. Pinned at her shoulder was the Irish Guards brooch. This shows her role as Colonel of regiment.

Her family joined her too for the event. Sons Prince George and Prince Louis looked nice. They wore navy suits with red ties to match. Princess Charlotte matched her mother color choice. She wore a sweet turquoise dress. A white bow was in her hair that sun shone. Charlotte also wore the horseshoe brooch. She wore this before to Queen’s funeral.

This thirteenth Trooping appearance says much. It shows her growing as senior royal family member. It also shows she developing her personal style. Her first time came weeks after her wedding. She wore white Alexander McQueen dresscoat then. That look was like her wedding gown’s skirt shape. Her hair was blown out, a style she liked much. She finished with a simple black hat then.

She knows her place and what wear when spotlight bright.

For Trooping, she picks more traditional clothes. Her usual work trouser suits are swapped out. She wear dresses or suits for this day. These outfits good for adding sentimental jewellery. Her hair keeps off her face too. This is practical for busy high-profile day. Adding turquoise Catherine Walker piece was memorable. It interesting looking back at her Trooping looks.

Kate had other notable outings recently. Each had its own style detail. At the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance, she attended. She followed the traditional black dress code. She look elegant in a black blazer dress. It was a modern pick for serious occasion. Two silver buttons cinched her waist nice. Her lapel had an RAF pin and red poppy. This is important sign for Remembrance Day.

Kate finished her look with luxe touches. This included pearl drop earrings and a necklace. They added soft elegance to black. But her Chanel clutch was perhaps outshone.

A sparkling ring on her left finger stood out. Her famous sapphire engagement ring. This ring once belonged to Princess Diana. The main stone huge 12-carat sapphire. It has diamonds around it set in white gold. This ring has immense history and meaning. Its presence always noteworthy to see.

Princess last wore this ring publicly. That was at Christmas service last December. Royal watchers saw Kate sometimes swap it. She wears an eternity band instead now. Some think it was a wedding anniversary gift. This adds more personal detail to her jewellery.
