Carrie adored designer heels like Manolo Blahniks a whole lot. Who never dreamed about having that closet like hers, really? This shoe connection was strong, so she launched her own shoe brand too. That confirms she is a true shoe expert indeed.
Carrie famously said, “Please take my things, but leave my Blahniks.” This was during a season three show robbery scene, remember? She liked her money hanging in her closet, where she sees it. SJP the real person now likes footwear differently a little.
She still puts on great heels for work or special happenings. Lately though, we see her out in New York city in comfortable shoes. These are just as stylish now as the high heels. This is a nice change from her character on TV sometimes.

Recently, Parker was seen outside in her hometown, New York City area. She had on a shoe that seemed like few things mixed up. It was like small heels, flat ballet shoes, and Mary Janes all together. This strange but cool choice felt very much like her own style.

She called them an urban shoe myth at that time. Now SJP is using those comfy Mary Jane ideas for her real life. They mix with other styles for easier wearing everyday. Those specific pair of shoes looked unusual on her feet there.
They took elements from different shoe types, which seemed odd. The black base had a tiny bow by the toes like ballet flats. It also had a comfy kitten heel attached. But what really made people look were the pearls laid across her foot top.
This gave the shoe a touch of unexpected style for sure. She wore these shoes with a simple grey pants outfit with slits. She had a white shirt button-down that was oversized. On someone short, the shirt could be like a dress too. She carried her own brand tote bag also.
This look proved comfy shoes can make big statements alone. You do not need noisy clothing to show off your footwear. Her long blond hair flowed with large cream flower clip in it.
Pearls have long meant classiness and elegance. They were favorite gem for old stars like Audrey Hepburn, for instance. Even people at the Met Gala event loved the trend in 2023. Kate Middleton often looks elegant wearing pearls herself.
But putting pearls with sweatpants feels quite new. It is a style contrast Sarah Jessica Parker pulled off easy. She was on set for the spin-off show And Just Like That. She wore a big shirt there, one of my personal favorites for comfort.
She had on cozy sweatpants that had split seams. She carried her brand tote bag again that day. Her golden hair was pulled back with a big flower hair clip. She finished that casual look with kitten heels.
