Notes

For optimal flavor, invest in a high-quality chicken base, as it forms the backbone of the broth. Using a rotisserie chicken streamlines prep, but ensure the shredded meat is tender. To prevent soggy noodles, consider pre-cooking them slightly less than al dente if using Italian pasta, or ensure they are fully submerged and cooked through if steeping in the bowl. Fresh dill is non-negotiable for its vibrant aroma and taste; incorporate it just before serving to maintain its freshness. Don't hesitate to adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste, and a squeeze of lemon or a dash of white pepper could elevate the brightness. Ensure your boiling water is sufficiently hot to cook the raw onion and peas while steeping.
